The CNE...

I have just one question.... why is this thing still going on?

In Toronto, the Canadian National Exhibition is an August tradition. For just two weeks of the year, the grounds are open... the grounds are huge by the way and on the lakeshore... and again, it's open for ONLY two weeks... why??

What's there? Different exhibitions... ie. vendors, food stalls, some cheezy rides, a midway, a casino, and some talent shows etc... but what's the point in all this if you only have it open for two weeks? It takes longer to find employees to run the place...

Anyways, I understand there's history and tradition... but this one is a stupid tradition. Open it for longer and stop making it such a drain for the government and community. OR just close it and get it done with... it's dying anyways...
