DVD Reviews: Being Julia, My Super-Ex Girlfriend

Being Julia
Annette Benning plays a 1930s theatre actress who falls in love with a younger man, and who has to continually find new ways to stay on top. Benning is fantastic in it, but too bad the movie is pretty pointless. I struggled to sit through the whole thing. Don't watch it (2/10).

My Super-Ex Girlfriend
This one soared in and out of theatres pretty fast. Uma Thurman plays G-Girl, a Superman rip-off, who is an art curator, who runs into and meets Luke Wilson... G-Girl is crazy, so Luke breaks up with her, and she goes nutso... especially after seeing Luke with Anna Faris (of the Scary Movie Franchise)... Anyways, this one had a super-lame ending, and a super-meager middle... Good idea, bad execution. Skip it (3/10).
