DVD Review: One Tree Hill Season 3

Kimberly Ho told me this was a great season to watch, so Helen and I were looking forward to it, especially after a less-than-stellar second season… and boy were we disappointed after the first dozen episodes… snorefest… we were ready to quite watching the show altogether… that is, until they opened the time capsule, and then did a whole Columbine thing… then it got intriguing for a couple episodes at least, but that was it… they didn’t capitalize on it… Not too much really happened, as the characters ended up where they started basically at the end of the first season… Haley and Nathan married again… Peyton and Brooke fighting over Lucas… Mouth, a nobody… they brought in Rachel, the bad girl, who was alright, but at least a big improvement over Felix. Peyton was boring and unlikeable, with storylines that made no sense or were pointless… so was Brooke after she slept with Chris Kellar… Karen was annoying all season… Deb was whore-y and insane… really, the only interesting character was the crazed Dan Scott… anyways, it was a below-average season, with a couple of great episodes… I’d pass overall… at least you got to see the “extra” that Chad Michael Murray left Sophia Bush for in real life… why would you ever leave Sophia Bush??! (5/10).
