Subway blues

Two hours on the subway this morning... TWO hours... sigh...

- started moving slow for a stop... then slowly moves one more... 7 mins pass
- announcement that there's a switch problem at Bloor, which is why it's slow...
- 15 mins later... still at the same stop... announcement that the switch problem at Bloor is cleared... BUT... switch problem at Lawrence...
- 15 mins later... still at the same stop... subway has stopped in both directions... switch problem at Lawrence cleared... but now there is a medical emergency and they've shut Lawrence down...
- 25 mins later... still at the same stop... Lawrence has cleared... now there's a medical emergency at Sheppard (which we've already passed)...
- 15 mins later... still at the same stop... Sheppard clears... the subways starts moving... slowly...
- 40 mins later... chugs into King station...

sigh... great start to the day!!
