Eurotrip! Days 1-4

Oh boy... how to sum up two amazing weeks in Europe in a blog?? ok, I can't... so i'm going to do it piecemeal, over the next little while... TONS happened... It was a fantastic vacation though... definitely the best vacation of my lifetime so far... I enjoyed every destination we made it to... although ended up spending lots of extra $$$, and going though a number of adventures:

First stop - DAY 1-2 LONDON, England

Highlight: Piccadilly Circus! This was the most amazing area at night... ever!!!
Lowlight: The superlong Day 1... taking a 7.5 hour flight on a Friday to arrive at 7:30am on Saturday, made Day 1-2 one superlong continuous day!
Food: Bar food mostly - fish & chips, meat pies... Sushi!... Fanta
Other sites: Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Parliament, Telephone booths, mailboxes
Sayings: Mind the Gap!
McDonalds: basically same price as T.O., except in Pounds instead of $... they had McChicken Tikka Pitas...
Best London Story: Hmmmm... not really anything exciting happened in London... what was really amazing was that it was bright and sunny for both days there!

Second stop - Day 3-4 Join the Contiki group, Leave London for Dover, Belgium, AMSTERDAM (Netherlands), ST. GOARS (Germany)

Highlight: The Anne Frank House... how amazing was it to visit that place and see what that family went through...
Lowlight: Not really seeing Belgium... We drove through it... but I have no idea what was there. Oh and there weren't all that many windmills in Amsterdam.
Food: Wine, wine and more wine... ice wine! yay!
Other Sites: The world's biggest Beerstein store, the world's biggest Cukoo clock, Amsterdam's many interesting sites...
McDonalds: Didn't see any!
Best Day 3-4 story: Apparently some guy on our tour was in a banana eating contest in Amsterdam at one of the "cultural" experiences... If you don't know what that means, well.... you're probably better off!

Next up... Munich... the REAL Oktoberfest... Lost passports!!!... Mysterious overnight trainrides and more!
