Picture time...

- Well I'm in a suit today... going to take headshots for business purposes... I really don't like wearing ties any more... It's amazing how different it is working downtown compared to 8 years ago... back then, EVERYONE was in suits and ties... "casual friday" was an uncommon phenomenon... heck we used to only have one the last friday of every month... it's amazing how times have changed...

- Congrats to the Hurricanes for winning the Stanley Cup... I've been quite disgusted with the fans in Toronto actually, who have been bandwagon jumping to back the Oilers... are Toronto sports so bad that you have to latch onto a city that's thousands and thousands of miles away?

- The NBA draft is starting to shape a bit... latest news is that Tyrus Thomas pulled out of a workout for Portland (who have the #4 pick) because a team in the top three picks has committed to picking him... No one in the league believes that that is Toronto or Charlotte, so it's like that the Chicago Bulls are the team. Whether or not that pick is for Chicago or part of a trade, no one is quite sure though... So it appears that Tyrus will go 2nd.

- There are also rumours that Sheldon Williams has been promised to be picked at #5 by Atlanta, which makes no sense apparently, since he hasn't even worked out with the team yet, and isn't projected to be anywhere near the 5th pick... it's possible that Atlanta will be trading down then and picking Williams with a later pick... I wonder if there's a possible three-way deal in the works with Atlanta, Toronto and perhaps another team around picks 10-12ish... with a movement in picks (T.O to #5, Atlanta to the teens and the other team up to #1)... that might make a lot of sense for some teams... apparently there are a lot of teams clamouring to get #1 or #2 to get Adam Morrison. Given the previous point that Chicago is taking Thomas, that would mean Toronto must be getting a lot of phone calls right now...

- Got a nifty gift from work today... a picnic bag/backpack, plus a bottle of ice wine... nice!

- it's too beautiful out to be working today...
