Pad Thai places!... Raps win... birthdays!

So I had pad thai at a couple places this weekend (Springrolls & Ben Thanh), which brings me to my random top ten list of the day... where to get the best pad thai?... here's my top ten list...

1. Natchos - great place at King & Victoria
2. Springrolls - quality comes and goes, but the one I had on friday was great! - Front/Church
3. Indochine - Collier & Yonge
4. Ben Thanh - getting better - Mississauga - Eglinton/The Chase
5. Circle Thai - Yonge/St. Clair
6. Golden Thai - Adelaide/Church
7. Green Mango - Bloor/Yonge
8. Green Papaya - Yonge/Eglinton
9. Mai Thai - Yonge/Eglinton
10. My place - I make a decent pad thai... but quality varies...

Did you know there's over a hundred Thai restaurants in Toronto? Crazy. Anyways, there's tons more good places for Pad Thai... Salad King, Young Thailand, Thai Chili, Queen Mother cafe... well, those are off the top of my head...

The Raptors were dominant yesterday, destroying the red hot Knicks who had won 6 in a row going in... And they did it without Mike James, who has been carrying this team lately. Jalen Rose really stepped it up for his first good game of the year. Jose Calderon also looked pretty good after being in a funk the last little while. The Raps go out on a 8 day, 5 game road trip... all of them are winnable, with the toughest likely to be tomorrow night against Utah, who are leading the MidWest division.

Finally happy birthdays to Mike and Cora... Mike is hitting the big 3-0 today... what a milestone... sadly it signals that I'll be there soon enuff...
