DVD Review: 24 Season 5

Jack Bauer is back again in this CRAZY season. With an unbelievable start that sees two key characters from previous seasons killed off, this season returns to the successful formula from the first two seasons. Two more key characters get off-ed through the year, leaving Jack with very few friends left. The 24 motto: Keep people on their toes, and trust in Jack. Kiefer puts in a great performance, in this very fast-paced season. Some great characters were put on display in this season including President Logan, Bill Buchanan from Season 4 and the new additions like Mrs. Logan and the folks from Homeland Security. There's also a 5 minute preview of Season 6... MUST watch… perfect lead in to next week’s 4 hour premiere… we'll see how it goes... Season 6 is going to feature among others, a new president (Wayne Palmer), and lots of new characters like Kal Penn (from Van Wilder/Harold & Kumar go to White Castle), and the guy who played Dr. Bashir on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (9/10).
