Monday... 5 minute blog... Raps win #15

Phew... facilitated my last training session for the next little while... I teach a lot of training starting around July through to December, which takes up a lot of time, and is very very tiring... I really enjoy it, but by the end of it all, I'm usually quite exhausted, so I am very ecstatic to be done with it for the next few months at least...

The Raps won again yesterday against the Wizards, to take their record to 15-19 and regained the lead in the Atlantic Division.

The Good: Raps were finally at full strength, with Ford, Bosh and Garbajossa all playing, albeit not at 100%... They played good unselfish offense, and played good defence for the first three quarters of the game, keeping Gilbert Arenas in check. This game was over early in the fourth.

The Bad: The near comeback from the Wiz was quite remarkable, led by Arenas, who is a master at initiating fouls... Raps defence fell apart, and the team looked tired and disinterested after a while.

Overall: They look good as they head off on a three game road swing against Eastern Division opponents. They should aim to win 2 of these games, to remain competitive, particularly the New Jersey game tomorrow, which would swing the lead in the Atlantic. This team just needs a few more games to gel with all their pieces together, and they should be competitive the rest of the season barring any major injuries... They can beat any team... seriously. Well, maybe not Chicago. Colangelo has done a great job of turning this team around... with their current roster, they should be competing for the playoffs for the next two years, and then probably a contender in their third, as they grow together...

Out of time already... dang... five minutes isn't a lot of time...
