Thursday five minutes...

Happy belated to Mike - I already called you on Tuesday, so this isn't really late... Happy Birthday to Janet too and congrats on the engagement!

Raptors pulled out a great win yesterday... they weren't playing all that well the first half, so they had me worried, but when they withstood the Sacramento run in the third, I knew they were going to take it... and they came out and played a great fourth quarter to beat the Kings comfortably.

The Good: Bosh was solid... Calderon ran this team extremely well... MoPete shot well and generally made good decisions... Garbajossa finally turned in a good showing despite missing his first five shots... hopefully his confidence is coming back....

The Bad: TJ was reckless and played terrible on his bobblehead night... Bargnani was mostly invisible... Just careless play overall... but they really tightened it up in the fourth quarter

Overall: Good win... they didn't play their best, but they still handily dispatched a team they've had difficulty playing in the past. I was disappointed the crowd didn't boo John Salmons very much, but Helen and I tried our best. The dog race at halftime was entertaining too... up next is Utah, who is always tough for us... Mehmet Okur, Kirilenko and Deron Williams all seem to step up their games against us... Raps are on track for .500 and the Indiana trade yesterday makes the playoffs even more of a realistic goal... Even Ron Artest said that Toronto was a legit playoff team...

CIBC - you are annoying me!! why does it take two weeks and four phone calls to process a mortgage payment?
