Raptor recap... Game #8

Was this the same game I was watching the day before or what? Philly scores a ton early and gets out to a monster lead... Raps cue the comeback but still can't come back and lose again...

Game notes:
- Mike James is the streakiest shooter ever... he had 38... he was virtually unstoppable... too bad the guy he was "guarding" scored 42...
- Matt Bonner got scorched on the defensive end by everyone he was covering... Iguodala, who everyone thought we should have drafted, scorched us for 26, going 6 for 8 for 3s...
- Raps signed DerrickMartin... maybe someone over there is reading my blog! Ask for a no-name point guard, and presto...
- The rookies were virtually invisible... Joey G had a decent game though, but he couldn't defend Iguodala either
- Jalen was a no show... 7 minutes, 0 points... yuck. When he was on the court, he was terrible... Again, I say dump him now. Sorry Jalen... Trade Aaron Williams too... I wish they could dump Hoffa and Woods too, but they can't. (moving Hoffa would mean Babcock is admitting he made a BIG mistake, and Woods is Bosh's best friend)...
- Bosh had another strong game... he's moulding into something good, but he needs to help coordinate the defence a bit... Defence was compeltely invisible.
- Mitchell made some questionable moves... for example, with the Raps coming back and only 7 down, Mitchell takes Bosh out, and puts in Hoffa, giving a lineup of Hoffa, Bonner, MoPete, James and Derrick Martin... What? Why not come back with Villaneuva or take Martin out and put ANYONE in? Instead, Raps lose momentum and finish the half 10 back.
- Not sure about announcers Jack & Chuck in this one either, especially 1st quarter. They were questioning putting the three rooks in at the same time with Bosh and James... the Raps went on a mini-run and closed a 18 point gap to 13, and at that point, they started criticizing... why criticize if it's their best lineup (yes, that's sad) and they actually closed the gap the vets had opened up?

Raps suck. Period. Need a move or two, and not have 4 centers sitting on their bench. Something has to change there. That's a lot of dead wood.
